two years old today

Original character sketches done a few hours before I sat down and did the first two depression comix. Originally all characters were supposed to have a wrinkle under the right eye, but I decided immediately after this sketch to reserve that for depressed characters only.

 

depression comix celebrates its second year of existence today. a special thank you to everyone who has read, shared, and commented on this comic. when I first started this strip, I didn’t think it would get past thirty strips, but #142 will be posted later today.

in the past year, I set up depression comix as its own site. it’s still very much a work in progress but I hope that people visit it. A warm thank you to Tobias, mmKALL, and masturbatress for their generous donations, I will use their gifts specifically for server costs.

there will be more comics in the next year. there have been requests for a dead tree edition; this may be something I will focus on. if no publishers are forthcoming, I might see about doing it myself.
